Volunteering We always need help in the day-to-day running of the shelter! Please contact us to volunteer! Click here to have your organization provide a meal for the emergency shelter. |

The Center is in constant need of volunteers. Below is a list of needs that volunteers can assist us with. Check in emergency shelter residents each night from 6:00-6:30 Provide, cook, and serve dinner for 30-35 people nightly. Provide items to be used daily for lunches for 30-35 people daily. Provide breakfast items (such as meat, eggs, juice, milk, etc.) to provide for 30-35 people. (Breakfast is prepared by the staff) Provide cleaning supplies for bathrooms, kitchen, dining hall, and appliances. Provide shampoo, soap, conditioner, and lotion (in liquid form) to be used in bathroom dispensers. Answer telephones. Be available to pick up donations to bring to the Center. Provide items such as lunch bags, sandwhich bags, ziplock bags, commercial size toilet paper rolls (Jr. rolls -as opposed to Jumbo) Provide MARTA tokens. Provide financial donations. Provide lawn care. Provide maintenance help with our facilities. Stand at door to greet new emergency residents from 6:00-6:50 |
